Transfer pump

TRANSFER PUMPS / PUMP FILL

Transfer pumps often also called filler pump or transfer pump or lift pump. The function of this pump to move water from one place to another automatically or manually (On / Off).
Pump works automatically with the aid of electrodes or with a float sensor, this sensor will work by detecting the level of water. If the water level down (empty tank) at a certain level it will be detected by the electrode / float then gave orders that pump life, and when the water level rises (full tank) at a certain level it will be detected by the electrode / float then gave orders that the dead pump .
Work manually pump means the pump will work without censorship. Live and die based on the pump switch on-off button is pressed by the (operator).
Pump that uses a 3 phase electrical control panel shall be provided to control the pump operation, while using an electric pump that phase 1 does not have to use the control panel to control pump operation.

2.1.1. Transfer pumps from shallow wells to ground tank / tower tank
Shallow wells have a depth of less than 8 meters (from the ground surface to the water level). Shallow well pumps typically use centrifugal end suction type pump small size.

2.1.2. Transfer pump from the well was to ground tank / tower tank
Wells with the depth of the well being is to have a depth of between 8 meters s / d 20 meter (measured from ground level to the water level). Pump used is the type of jet pump, called a jet pump because the pump is no additional equipment is installed on the suction side has a function called ejectors for added impetus. On the suction side of the pump jet pump has two pipelines, one lane as the suction pipe and the other lines as the pipe that serves the thrust portion of the water pump, flowing down toward the ejector then pushed back up through the suction pipe.

2.1.3. Transfer pump from wells in the ground to the tank / tank tower
Category wells in the well that has a depth of over 20 meters (measured from ground level to the water level). There are two kinds of water level used as a reference for the dinamyc water level (the water level is always changing) and the static water level (the water level remains).
Dinamyc water level (DWL) is the water level has stabilized after the pumping test or the level of the deepest water (from ground level) that occurs during the dry season.
Static water level (SWT) is the position of the lowest water level (from ground level) prior to the pumping test or low water levels that occur during the rainy season.
Water level measurements for wells in can be done by using a Water Level Meter.
For applications in the wells, which pump is the type of dye used (submersible deep well) that has the ability to pressure or high pressure. The workings of this pump is pushing water from the bottom to the top so it does not require a suction pipe.

2.1.4. Transfer pump from the ground tank to tank tower
These applications often found in buildings and industry. Because in this application required a large water flow and high pressure then there are two types that fit the type of end suction horizontal and vertical in-line.
For horizontal type pump suction end are often used for buildings / factories which have space large enough pump. While the pump-type vertical in-line often used for buildings / factories pumping relatively narrow space.

         2.1.5. Boiler transfer pump filler
This pump applications as filler boiler using hot water with a temperature between 40oC - 100oC, thus susceptible to cavitation and pump to avoid cavitation position of the water tank is placed higher than the pump. In this application, the pump used is a type of in-line vertical multi stage because these pumps have high pressure and NPSH are also relatively small compared with the types of end suction.
